Blogger has recently launched a new template designer. This is one of the awesome feature of blogger. This new feature contains HTML/layout editing, Template designing and each and every color fonts customization. It has highly customizable stuffs. Now you can design your own template yourself with out knowledge of CSS.
This feature doesn't change any saves after you have designed and saved the template. You can customize each and every layout, background, text, color, fonts and widget placement.
Actually, it gives little benefit you. You will not have to place credit on your blog footer because the template is designed by yourself with entirely different layout. And also it increase your blogs loading speed.

Using template designer
Log on to Blogger.com
Click layout tab and you will see a template designer tab.
And start customizing your template.
You can see the editing options on the left side of the page. Choose the sample template, and begin to edit background, layout. You can add CSS in Advanced option. You can see preview below the customization options.
